A great track is a great track, regardless of the genre. It's this way of thinking combined with a profound love of sharing new and exciting music that has allowed Kered to entertain crowds on the sun-drenched beaches of Ibiza and Miami to the sweaty nightclubs of Munich and Montreal. Ready to dance?
Kered's DJ appearances have taken him to some of the best cities and nightclubs in the world, and as a producer he's worked on projects for Nadia Ali, John Acquaviva's Definitive label, Nervous Records, Witty Tunes, Casbour Records and more. Rewind to 2006 and his first official remix of Stephan Riedel & Markus Mehta's "Obsessions" track was signed to Hernan Cattaneo's high profile Renaissance mix CD.
It was around this time that a defining moment for Kered's career took shape with the Kered & Kiraly partnership. Longtime acquaintances from the early rave days turned friends, the duo caught the world's attention with a remix of Lazar "Heat of the Moment" that was supported by Pete Tong on his BBC Radio 1 Essential Selection. The track broke the Beatport Top 25 and was played by an array of talent including Roger Sanchez, Sander Kleinenberg, Sharam, and many others. Subsequently, more work flowed in with remix projects for Nadia Ali, Azuli Records, Sultan, Paul Harris and many others. With Kiraly focusing more on his own productions and Kered taking the time to learn his own craft, the duo amicably split to explore their own individual sounds. "It was without question a rewarding partnership that opened a lot of doors for the both of us," says Kered.
Today, Kered's focus is sharper than ever. He continues to spread his love of music through the KeredCast, a radio show podcast that features the latest releases and a spotlight on guest DJs. Some of the jet-set elite who have appeared on the show include Frankie Knuckles, John Digweed, Sasha, Paco Osuna, Robert Dietz, Nic Fanciulli, Mark Knight, Satoshi Tomiie, Sharam, Axwell, Timo Maas, David Morales and many others. The show is also syndicated on top stations throughout the world, including Nove 3 Cinco (Portugal), Radio Klub (France), Lightwave Radio (Greece), 106,7 KLIK FM (Rodos), Kittikun (Japan), and Intense Radio (Netherlands) to name a few.
The next chapter begins with Kered's new label, Loot Recordings. Described as "the music you don't know yet, but already love", the focus is to discover and offer producers a creative platform for their sounds that aren't pigeonholed to a single genre. We invite you to experience Kered’s celebratory spirit of quality dance music that's fused together with beautiful melodies, driving rhythms and a futuristic aesthetic. Let’s dance and get lost in the music!
